Occasional Issue

After reading some of the stories from the contributors on this page, I feel very fortunate. There has only been a couple of times I've had problems. I believe that it is caused by spasms, but am not sure.

I'm 50, and I do exercise, daily if possible. The first time my back went out, it was while exercising. While standing from a squat, I leaned back a bit further than my back was ready for, and that was it. I was crawling for the rest of the day. It cleared up, and I've been trying to be more consious of my limitations.

Yesterday, I finished stretching, and started to work out, and the same pain started creeping back until I had to stop exercising. I'm not even going to try today.

I believe that the colder temps have something to do with it, so I'm trying to keep covered up.

I hope the viewers of this page find some relief. Back pain greatly reduces quality of life, and makes the sufferer feel like a burden to friends, and family.

Yes, I agree - back pain has a definite impact on quality of life.

I'm pleased that you've only suffered back pain recently - and I hope it passes soon. Good luck!
