Joya Shoes

I have been wearing MBT shoes for years and yes, I love them. Now I have come across a new brand called Joya Shoes which are designed by the same Swiss inventors as originally the MBT shoes. They call it the softest shoe in the world.

A great product, not as rocky as the MBT but they also make you balance, also increase muscle activity and reduce stress in joints. They are not just soft in the heel, but soft from heel to toes. And they cost $100.

MBT's and alternatives
by: lesley Rodgers

I discovered MBTs purely by accident. I purchased a walking magazine as I used to go fell walking but due to arthritis in my large toe joints and knee pain found I could no longer walk the distances I once enjoyed. I purchased my first pair of MBTs 18 months ago and they enabled me to walk almost pain free for the first time in years. I now have three pairs, although my first pair is now almost falling apart. I wish they offered a waterproof shoe which I need for the winter months especially for walking to and from work and walking my two dogs in the winter weather.

I have been searching the internet and found RYN and [Joya Shoes]. I am going to place an order for the Joya Alpina ptx walking boot and cannot wait to try them.

I went searching in my local town centre (Manchester, England) to try to find a stockist of either Ryn or Joya and nobody had heard of them. I would much rather try the shoe on in a specialist shoe store, but this is not possible in my area. So internet shopping is my only option.

I have been so disappointed at not being able to find a stockist, I really would like the opportunity to open a specialist shoe shop in my area, giving others a chance to walk without pain.

There is a shop in London called [Back in Action], this is where I purchased my MBTs (online). They also stock Chung shi but have told me they are finnishing this line as they as not as good as the MBT.

The MBT shoe has proved that there are shoes out there that can offer an alternative to surgery, offering a solution to joint pain.

Thank you to those people who are dedicated to producing these revolutionary shoes may they continue to develop their products and please will British retailers begin to stock them.

Interesting alternative to MBTs
by: steve

Thanks - I'd heard that Karl Muller was no longer linked to MBTs, but it's nice to see that he's not left footwear completely. I'll have to keep an eye out for Joya shoes.
