My story is just beginning. I am a 46 year old woman and I have had back pain for years and have been on pain medication for it. I recently had an MRI that diagnosed 7 herniated disks, 4 in my lumbar and 3 in my cervical spine- size ranging 4 to 6 mm. I had no idea.

I only experience the shooting pains occasionally but I have experienced numbness in my toes and my fingers on my left hand for years. My doctors performed ultrasound on my arm and hand 8 years ago and told me they did not know what was wrong. Part of my diagnosis problem has probably been due to lapses in my health insurance. I am going to see a neurologist for the first time in April.

I don't really know what to expect from here on out. I want to be active and I want to exercise but I am scared. I have probably put on 15 to 20 pounds in the last six months and I know that adds to my pain. My saga will continue.....Wish I knew what to expect.

Possible Help
by: Dennis Denlinger

Dear Joanne,

It is quite a problem you have. Luckily the discs are not ruptured, just herniated.

I applied elementary engineering principles to the human body and came up with a solution to my own terrible headaches as well as problems like you have. I wrote a book titled: "Muscle N' Bone: New Discovery Can Help or Prevent Neck Pain, Back Pain, Foot Pain and More". I cannot give the web site here. You could perhaps search the title on Google.

Good luck.

Regards,

Dennis Denlinger
