Bowen did the trick

by Celia Hurdle
(Juniper Hills, California)

I had suffered for many years with 2 bulging disks that would slip every few months resulting in many trips to a chiropractor. I then found a doctor practicing Applied Kinesiology, this worked a lot better than chiropractic, I would get instant relief and found it to be less violent.

My back would still go out every few months but I was relieved to have somewhere to go that would ease my pain. I figured I would just have to deal with my back issues for the rest of my life.

That was until I found a wonderful Bowen practitioner.

In the last 18 months I have had just 4 Bowen sessions and my back has not gone out once. I feel stronger and not afraid to try things "just in case my back would go out". In fact, just last week I was White Water Rafting in 3+ rapids - not bad for my first try.

You can get descriptions of Bowen from a couple of official websites www.bowtech.com or www.bowenwork.com but in a nutshell - Bowen is a manipulation of the muscles that releases toxins and tension and encourages the body to heal itself. It's a relaxing, therapeutic experience and has worked wonders for me.

Marie Unini and her Bowen work has changed my life and saved me so much money. If you're in the Southern California area, Marie works in Pasadena and the Antelope Valley.

(Steve's Note - I've removed the phone number and email that Celia included as I have no idea if these are genuine. I'm sure that Marie can be contacted in the yellow pages or another local directory.)

Fantastic results.

I'm currently undergoing Bowen therapy as I write, and I've got my fingers crossed that it can do for me what it's done for you!

My Lower Back Pain

Please note that I have no relationship with the products or services I describe here. I developed this site partly to encourage me to put more effort into fixing my own back, but also to inspire others to go take control of their own back care.

Hopefully you may find some of the ideas here useful, and maybe can discuss them with your doctor.
